Minimalist Hospitality in a Tropical Setting

Hotel La Punta was conceived as a contemporary hospitality destination that combines simplicity, functionality, and a strong connection with Puerto Vallarta’s tropical environment. The project includes 12 guest rooms and 8 compact capsules designed for surfers, creating a flexible accommodation model for different types of travelers. A central garden acts as the social and spatial core of the complex, providing natural light, ventilation, vegetation, and a sense of community throughout the property.

Architecture as a Catalyst for Urban Growth

The architectural proposal uses clean lines, restrained materials, and carefully scaled volumes to integrate the development into its surroundings. As one of MDL’s early projects focused not only on building design but also on broader urban growth, Hotel La Punta contributed to the transformation and consolidation of the area. Its relationship with the street, landscape, and emerging local activity positioned the project as a reference point within the neighborhood.
